Default Connecting two PS3's

Hi everyone. Just had a quick question. My buddy brought his PS3 over so we could each have our own screen, but having some problems. is it possibly to have two playstations using the same internet connection? everytime he does a connection test is says IP address has failed? is this even possible? any suggestions.

Thanks guys,
Tony

give HIS playstation a different IP address

you cant have 2 hooked up using the same IP

make yours 192.168.1.100 (for example)
make his 192.168.1.101

same network = you can do

you need different IPs for each ps3

go to the router menu and assign a different IP for each ps3. that takes 1 minute to do
