Howdy, folks. I've got a problem that probably has some obvious solution that I've overlooked and I'm hoping someone here can figure it out. I used the Netflix streaming disc without issue on my old 60gb PS3, but the disc doesn't work on my new PS3 slim. The disc will load on the slim and I can access my instant queue and when I select a title to play there is the usual status message from Netflix that says "Retrieving," but then a PS3 error message pops up saying that the disc cannot be played.
I have already tried unregistering both PS3s from my Netflix account and then re-registering the slim. I have already tried deleting the BD Utility data for the Netflix streaming disc. And I have already tried a second streaming disc from Netflix, but still have the same issue. Is there some setting that I'm missing on the PS3 slim, or does anyone have any other suggestions? I have not yet contacted customer support because I anticipate Netflix telling me to call Sony and Sony telling me to call Netflix. I'm hoping someone here has a fix before I spin the customer service roulette wheel. Last edited by witheygull; 06-25-2010 at 12:14 AM. |
