Huge difference between classic RPG and Action RPG. Most of the PS3 ones are action RPG which i don't care much for.

Too bad sony dopesn't differentiate between the 2, but there is a difference.

SCEA/SCEE correctly list Folklore as an Action/Adventure.

well then its the stores and online retailers that group them all as RPG, which makes it difficult to weed through what is actually a true classic RPG

Marvel:Ultimate Alliance is pretty much the definition of an Action/RPG as well.

Untold Legends is a rpg.

Levels, experience, item system, ability to purchase new weapons from the checkpoints.

Magic speels, pyshical spells, etc.

Sure it wasn't very deep, but still.

Tears to Tiara(probably import-only unless someone is nice enough to bring the game over when the anime comes to America, which could probably take a long while before that happens. I think it's safe to say that it won't be going anywhere outside of Japan due to the *ahem* suggestive material in the game). I'll give this one a Gold rating

Record of Agarest War when you fight it does display some English but text is not English though when they speak.(If its anything like the demo I played then it gets a Gold from me)

They both edge towards a Platinum in my book but just not quite.

I give Oblivion a platinum rating, Fallout 3 a silver rating and Disgaea 3 a silver rating (although both F3 and D3 border on gold)
