nice. There's been many of these tests posted and yet still daily there's people who make threads asking about which to buy.

...we had the most trouble when trying to attach Monster's $300 M1000HDMI cable to the Epson's HDMI port. Easily the thickest, stiffest, heaviest model we reviewed, the Monster cable pulled away from the projector's HDMI port, often causing the screen to go blank.
He he...

Its a nice reminder to the lurkers out there getting ready to upgrade not to waste $ on the expensive brand name cables. Put it into a bigger TV

I've always been shocked at the cost of cables at Best Buy, CC, etc.. I get all my cable and speaker wire at monoprice and haven't had any problems. HDMI cables are the worst with huge markups. I did have some monster speakerwire that was real easy to strip...I'm the worst at stripping wire.

I agree with everyone on how ridiculous the cost of some of these HDMI cables is. I too at one time bought a "high-quality" HDMI cable from Monster only to be told by everyone here to return it and go with monoprice.

Best idea going.

I've gone as far as to read an article about someone doing a blind comparison of Monster cables to a cheap HDMI, only to swap out the cheap HDMI with a home-made HDMI cable using a coat hanger. (Didn't even even know that was possible). No one could tell the difference.

Great stuff.
