Sony BDP-S300 can't Iron man BD?

Can Sony BDP-S300 played Iron man BD?Someone said that S300 can't play it,is that true?I heard it from other people.

Ricky, I tested the disc last night on both the S300 and the BD30 and there are no issues with it.

I bought a copy of Iron Man on eBay and it won't play on my S300. It goes through the loading screen then just sits there. I let it sit for 1 hr 45 min and it still wouldn't load. Fortunately the seller is going to refund my money, and I'm hoping its just the disc. It would really suck if the new discs with BD-Live funtionality won't play on the first gen machines.

what you should do is go to the retailer and ask for exchange. my 1st copy also cannot playback. i heard Paramount made a countermeasure on theire
2nd release.

You jsut brought up an old post. There is nothing wrong with the discs.

When it was first released everyone was trying to load their Iron Man BD at the same time and it bogged down their BD Live server.

There is no problem now.

I called sony and they sent me the 4.50 firmware update. I did the update and confirm the version on my player but when I put the disc in the player it loads but the shows #2 00.00.00 and just sits there. I took the disc back to the store and the owner tried the disc on a playstation and it played fine but when I brought it back home nothing happened. I getting frustrated with this machine/ dvd. I have never had this problem before. Can anyone suggest anything. thanks
