What is the difference between the Polk Audio CS2 and CS20 - Blu-ray Forum

I was looking at the specs, and other then one being a composite fiber and one being an organic fiber they pretty much look like they are the same basic specs. Is the CS20 just a newer version of the CS2 or is there a larger difference then that? I kind of need to know relatively quick to know if I should run back to CC and grab the CS2 while they still have it.

Unfortunately everybody only has the CS20 to listen to so I can't quite compare them that way.

They are pretty much the same thing, just the CS20 is more expensive because it is the new version. I doubt there is any discernable difference.

Thanks! Called Polk directly too, they said there's no difference other then the cabinet redesign. Considering the CS2 cost me $53.17 before tax, I don't think I care either!

OMG, I love Circuit City's discount now.

Oh I love this thing. I went from a cheap klipsch that was way too small to this, and wow! It just sounds beautiful and fills the room. Yesterday I was straining and having to pump up the volume to hear anything, now I've got the volume a lot lower and I hear everything nice and crisp.

The worst thing is now I want to upgrade more. I'm going to have to get some TSi-300s as rears. *sigh* This is such an expensive hobby!

Nice Deal. The CC i went to had marked everything up so much before the "clearance", the discounts really weren't much

Make sure you consider the Monitor 50's if you want TSi300s. Its the same parallel as the CS2/CS20 --- same product and about half the price ($120 shipped from newegg right now)

I have had that same problem with hearing the voices, I cant wait to have it so you can hear everything crisply

Yup, go for the Monitor 50's. I am in the process of uprgrading from a HTIB. Got 2 50's last week for fronts, a CS10 (similar to the CS20) and ordered 2 more 50's from New Egg today for surrounds. I'm very pleased.

KRP- what receiver are you running?

I went with the T90e's for fronts and the M50s for rears. I am currently looking for a CS2/CS20 for cheap..

Sorry to bring up an old thread, but just an FYI for those who are looking, the Polk CS2's are FINALLY back in stock at Newegg for $150 shipped. Cheapest I've been able to find them (in black color) given the free shipping. Even used ones are going on Ebay for around this price.

Should be no longer than 3 days. My Mon. 30's I ordered this past Friday, they're in RI now, will have them On Schedule tomorrow: 3 business days. When I ordered my T90e's, did them on a Monday, they came in TWO Days; that Wednesday!
