Billy Bob Thornton Acts like a D*** on Radio

Man I don't know wtf happened with Billy but I think he might have been drunk cause he sounds a little off here, but anyways Billy Bob Thornton transformed into a condescending, pompous jerkwad -- live on the radio today -- when the station DJ casually brought up Billy's acting career.

See, Billy Bob has a band now ... and he demands to be taken seriously -- as in, Billy demanded that the radio host treat him like he would treat Tom Petty.

Seriously, Billy compared himself to Tom Petty.

It all went down today during a CBC interview -- Jian Ghomeshi, the interviewer, was asking Billy about what his passions were growing up -- like baseball, acting and music -- when Billy suddenly transformed into a massive d-bag and claimed that Jian had been "instructed not to talk about s*** like that."

I am a big fan of his, and I get everybody has a bad day, but he just kind of continued on being an ass much longer than he needed to. We got the point in the first 30 seconds he didn't want to discuss movies just his music, but come on Bad Santa where you drunk again? It's not like he's known for being a proper gentleman with a clean mouth lol, so this doesn't really change my opinion of him, he just got a little heated and didn't wanna let go, shit I'm like that several times a week haha, it'd be hypocritical for me to pass judgement for this.

Anyways he acted, just like Joaquin Pheonix, its all staged for publicity. If he came one there and just discussed the band it would be forgotten but because he acted out its headline news

Yeah its something as it sounds as if this guy is trying to introduce him as a music artist just like Joaquin.

Michael Cena did something similar with Christian Bale.

As both an actor AND a radio producer, I completely disagree. This ain't acting. He's legitimately pissed.

And I also have to say that the producer is probably pissed at the host as well. When stars come on your show, you're usually instructed by the publicist about what not to talk about or ask about. If you decide to go against that, then you risk not having that guest or any other guest from the company on in the future. You'd probably be surprised at the things you're warned about before the artist gets there.
