Default turntable isolation

Looking for an inexpensive or DIY isolation method for my turntable. Any cheap-ish solutions out there? Any diy's that are WAF approved? Not sure I can build a sand box like I've seen on some sites.

Buy a butcher block cutting board or buy solid wood from Home Depot/Lowes and add spikes or other type of legs to it like the information in the following link. Both Home Depot/Lowes sell ready-made round and square table top boards. They also sell short (2" and above) ready-made legs.

I don't know if they're still available, but I use something called a Mission Isoplat under my preamp. If it's small enough, your turntable might be a good fit (I used it under a Technics TT I was borrowing for a while when my big rig was out of commission). An Isoplat is essentially a piece of MDF with four sorbothane feet.
