Don asked about the issue of different standards and how it might be holding back convergence and convenience to the detriment of the mass market. Wonder if he had any particular incompatible standards in mind

Notice Gates' answer and his body language... interesting, to me anyways. I reckon the HDM war must have flashed through his mind, given who was asking the Q.
