Default Twitch 9 HT build finally started

Well i started the build on April 5 2009 and have just finished the framing.

The room dimensions are 10' wide by 21' and the false screen wall will make the final room 10' x 17' with all speakers and components behind the screen.

I haven't decided on the projector yet but i have around $2000 to spend. I just placed my order for cables from monoprices, the total bill is $400 the main reason it's so much is i will be running 2 HDMI cables to the projector 1 will be for backup incase something goes wrong with the main cable.

here are a few pics not much to look at yet

If I could do what you are doing all over again.....it would be awesome. That room looks like a white canvas waiting to be painted....and I know it will turn out to be a Picasso. Looks real good, and I like the type of framing you picked....any reason why not wood....acoustics perhaps or $?

If that is a bare concrete wall, make sure you add a vapor barrier. It will save you in the long run from potential mold.
