connecting PS3 + LG FullHD + LG HT303

Hope anyone knows if it is possible to connect my LG HT303 5.1 dvd and sound system to the PS3 with hdmi cable connected to my full hd tv (LG32inch)

For now I can only hook up the tv with the ht303 system, but what I really want is to get the sound on it when I use the PS3

Hope anyone can help me out here that would be great!

Get an HDMI Hub so you can have 2 HDMI signals.

1. Cable Box to Hub
2. PS3 to Hub
3. Hub to TV

From what I've seen on google, this HTIB don't have hdmi in or out. is it really the case?

Thats true this ht303 doesnt have any hdmi input
I does have scart, audio and component video...

All I want is to hear the sound of the ps3 in 5.1 (with use of HT303) when I have the tv in full HD.

Or maybe it isn't possible with this dvd sound system? that could be the case.

With my first setup using a HTIB, my ps3 was on tv with HDMI, and from the ps3 I was going to the HTIB with optical cable. If you don't have an optical input on yours I'm not too sure what you can do...

My setup kinda is similar to yours in that i have a HTIB, a PS3, and a flat panel.

Until I can afford to save the money for a proper receiver and speakers, this is what I work with.

PS3 => HDMI cable => running to Flat Panel TV

Flat Panel TV => Red/White RCA audio cables => running to HTIB


believe it or not, it actually works pretty darn good for the most part, and thankfully I have not had the pleasure to know what HD sound really sounds like, so right now I don't know what I'm missing; which is good. But I'm sure when I upgrade I will ask why I didn't do it sooner.

Even PS3 games sound pretty good in surround. So that's how I get around without optical or HDMI inputs to my HTIB
