Dead LG 50" Plasma - Blu-ray Forum

I have a dead 50" LG Plasma.....paid $2k for it, was told it has a bad board and they want $500 to fix it. What does everyone do with dead tv's that are not worth fixing...can get an equivalent now for $1k with a new warranty (need extended warranty this time!)

How old is it?
