I know I sould be greatfull to have a job , But man this really sucks , I got bumped to 3rd shift , after being on 2nd shift for 16 years,, A real life change, Sundays used to be a nice family day , nice dinner and a good movie , and just relaxing, now its a hurry up & wait game , just bumming around waiting for 9:30 PM to get here to leave, wife is bummed out too. man This sucks,,,, just ranting ,,,

I can't complain on that department, I have a great job and I love it and so far I'm good at it.

I work in Banquets at a resort and never have a set schedule. I also never really stay still, I would go crazy. I usually walk about 10 to 14 miles a day, sometimes more. I want to have the morning shift( 3:30am to about 9am start times) but sometimes I have to work nights. Also I do not get set days off, it always is different from one week to the next.

With that said, I am MORE than grateful to have a job considering that MANY people have been laid off in recent months. People that I thought were very safe from getting the boot.

It sucks to have a routine or schedule get disrupted but at least you got money coming in and hopefully you are able to buy more blus.
