Heres a link to some Region B players, 206.00 shipped to USA. Great deal for those locked Steelbooks. Plus these players come with 2 movies, IAL and O13. I just ordered me one, cheaper than a LG BH200 and will serve my purpose for testing discs and watching the steelbooks.
http://www.amazon.co.uk/gp/product/B...r=1-12&seller= you will most likely need an a/c adapter |

The power consumption during use is stated as 21 W, so a converter with 55 W like the one for 10 USD should be more than enough. You don't need neither 500 Watt nor the step-down component |

I had those transformer boxes in Germany. I had two 300 Volts, I think maybe it was Watts. For all the stuff in my room. There was a 75 one but noooo, my PS2 had be 79 so I couldn't buy the 75. But I only spent $20 on them from a thrift shop on one of the US Bases there.

I would be willing to purchase a PS3 from the UK, but I don't know if it would be allowed to ship here without paying insane import fees.
On the other hand, I would probably get confused and mix the two players up. Then I would rupture a vein if I put a US BD into the UK PS3 or vice versa. |

![]() Don't think you have to worry about the wrong disc in the wrong player. Only thing could happen is to reject playing it. And UK & European plug doesn't fit in the US socket either, so you can't damage the PS3. I Think, even if you could nothing will happen because it's only half the power it will need. But never ever try it the other way round here in Europe! That would be a ![]() ![]() |

Thanks JB / Thanks Transporter. I will seriously consider obtaining a PS3 from the UK. Will I need a power converter as well as a plug adapter?
