Addictive TV

Don't get me wrong,Tivo and DVR are great. To most of us who have it we could not live without it. I bet thought that there are some shows that no matter what commercials or not we have got to be in front of that TV every week at start time.

What is your most Addictive TV show?

My current is Rescue Me, full of weekly surprises!

For the most part I don't watch any live TV (other than sports). I'd rather watch a recorded program or do something else than watch a show with commercials.

I was right there with you on this one. A co-worker of mine turned me on to it and I watched all the current seasons in record time. I started school and got really busy with life and fell off the show. I think i'll wait till this season comes to blu ray cause I have a feeling that if I jumped in this week I would really be LOST!

while it's not on anymore, i rented the arrested development dvds a few years ago and watched them straight for an entire week, couldn't stop. the 22 min episode time makes it incredibly easy to get addicted and to keep going with them.

I Am addicted to MANY shows, but I dont watch ANY of them during the season. Yes, I wait an entire YEAR for each season to watch them on Blu or DVD. I have to be really carefull to avoid spoiler chat.

Examples of what I am waiting for.

I wish I was patient like you, but I cannot wait that long, even though I love watching a season straight through. It would just be too hard for me to avoid previews for upcoming episodes or spoilers. I am waiting for Mad Men s2 to be released because I have s1 but I haven't watched it so I will get to watch that straight through.

Its tough sometimes....but my TV is never on "TV" so I dont get hit with ads/spoilers there. I just have to be carefull when talking to family/friends.

Have you watched Damages? I think its the best thriller/drama I have seen. I say that in terms of "Standard" thriller/drama, not the fantasy kind like LOST. Season 2 has some heavyweight talent...Glen Close, Rose Byrne, William Hurt, Ted Danson, Marcia Gay Harden, Timothy Olyphant et al.

Damages has always sounded great to me. It's just so hard to time manage everything that looks great into a single week sometimes. I will def have to look into this show, gotta Love Netflix!

You wont be disappointed. Its one of those shows where everyone has an agenda and you dont know who to trust. The villans are really dispicable. Its a thinker show for sure. Murders, bribery, unethical behavior in abundance.

I've never watched Damages because I'm not really a Glenn Close fan but maybe I'll give it a try. I do like that shows on FX can get more graphic and realistic so maybe this summer I'll rent it.
