Hmmm.... I would wait to find out what the exclusive is. Since you have to pre-order the set anyways (I'm guessing that they are sold out at the moment) regardless of which you order, it is worth the extra couple of weeks to get details since they are the same price.

Perhaps even an e-mail is in order to find out more details?

The HMV exclusive comes out 23rd February anyway, why not wait until that month before worrying about it?

I'm betting it's just a different cover/box art

I'm kind of interested too. I'll keep an eye on this thread. They are region-free too.

Well, look, I work in an HMV store, so if we get the exclusives at our store and a picture still hasn't gone up on the website, I'll let you know what the deal is.

I bought the DVD set in STEELBOOK and have been reluctant to now go and buy the ever-so-bulky Blu box set. Could this be a steelbook blu set?

I hope it's a steel case but I'm astonished why they haven't put the picture yet.
would be a nice collectible if that's the case

There's a full page HMV ad in this months Total Film magazine regarding their exclusive - according to their picture, it's the same as the normal edition but the outer box is red instead of black. No mention of any steel case.

Could you provide a photo?

I suppose this is good news for those of us who cringe at the thought of double dipping.

Yeah, as above, I just got this month's PCGamer and in it there's an HMV ad for the exclusive. It's a red box (the same colour as the DVD box sets) with black individuals inside.

We've got a couple in stock at the moment. It's £39.99, and the case is hard, leather-style. The red hue totally doesn't go with the blu-ray border at the top either :P

I was in HMV yesterday and they had 2 versions of the boxset. One with black cardboard and 4 disc boxes and one with brown cardboard and 4 disc boxes.

Apart from that I couldn't see much difference. If you like different coloured cardboard you will love it

So, any difference apart from the tacky leather look?
