Gettysburg the Movie - Blu-ray Forum

I was quite surprised that Gettysburg the movie is not in Blu Ray format. And the reason is that Leonard Mauldin gave Gettysburg a 3 star rating - higher than Gods and Generals. So I urge those who are interested in Civil War history that they keep asking for the movie Gettysburg in Blu Ray!

If I were a director, I would attempt to remake it. I'd like to see a civil war movie similar to a Saving Private Ryan-style.

I agree, Gettysburg is a great film, and I cannot wait until it gets released on Blu-ray.

Yes you can, you have even more blu-rays than I do and there are numerous other BETTER war movies.

Actually no he didn't, not sure which moderator moved it here though. Good movie, just not in a hurry to get it with so many other releases coming out soon that I want.

i already own gods and generals on blu so i want gettysburg on blu also, it's one of the best movie i ever saw about one of the great battle of the civil war.
