Default Is shopping with paypal or debit safe?

I know credit cards are the safest way, but between the two (paypal vs debit) which is safer?

Also, is it safe to shop at a place where your browser warns you the security certificate or something or other has expired? The company seems legit.

I have used Paypal for a long time now with not a single hitch. They are a very secure site.

As for the second question, I don't have an answer for that. My suggestion is if you don't feel it's safe to use the sight, then don't. Better to be safe than sorry.
