Smile Where do you guys normally buy Blu-ray

Hi,

I'm from Thailand and I'm now at Walt Disney World and I'm here for another months

I'm wondering where is the best place to buy cheap (new) blu-ray that you don't have to order online?

Wal-Mart still looks kinda pricey at the store

and Virgin clearance sale that i have been looking forward to is soooooooo lame (just 20% off hopefully they will have more sale)

I'm sorry if i posted in the wrong forum

But my question is
"where is the cheapest place to buy blu-ray in Orlando? Or NYC or LA that's not online"

thank you so much

I am not in Olrando, but it seems that everywhere i have been

Walmart
Bestbuy
or
Target (rarely)

It really depends on the sales that each store has. Are you lookig for a particular movie?

I usually buy online...but the cheapest locally for me is almost always Walmart or Target (depends on the title oddly enough)

I don't usually buy new releases at stores as soon as they come out any more. It seems to me that older releases are usually cheapest at Wal-Mart.

i buy from wal-mart when a movie hits the $14.96 price. for big name movies i want day 1, i go to best buy. for anything else that is already out, i look for deals on ebay or the trade forums here.

Go to the Hot Deals board and see if any local stores in your area are having sales. Or check Amazon. Or check the Trading Board.

Thumbs up

I usually buy at amzon, tower, and once a month i will buy at bestbuy(if good deal), target, walmart. because best buy, walmart and target are about 4 hour trip to neariest city, so amzon and tower are best way for me to buy bluray.

I buy exclusively from amazon.com using the links from this site to add each item to my shopping cart so blu-ray.com gets credit for the referral. I think of myself as a frequent buyer but I rarely shop around for price. I prefer the delivery to my door with no sales tax and no shipping cost as an Amazon Prime member.

Except for very few exceptions, my price limit has forced me to buy 99% of my Blu's from Amazon.com. I don't pay over $25.00 for a title.

Yup, then they had B1G1 on $30 movies and then B2G1 on $15 and $20 movies. No sale this week though, will see for next week.
