just watched Master and Commander , I have to say the Sound was AWESOME .. the battles were outstanding !!!! The PQ was just as great

The SQ is amazing, some of the best out there. I wish the PQ was a little more consistent but it wasn't bad.

That's exactly how I felt when I re-watched it the other week. You can't help but want to tell everyone how awesome the blu-ray is

I just watched this for the first time on blu the other day, and it's my new demo movie for surround sound. It's the best I've ever heard. PQ isn't bad either.

The first battle scene is an amazing way to show off your sound system. It's definitely my choice when I demo as well.

The first battle scene? No, no, by far - the best scene for audio is the Cape Horn sequence.

Wish they had continued the series. Too bad it was overshadowed by Pirates. Don't get me wrong, I like the first Pirates but after that it went downhill. This movie is more serious and the action is intense!

I think the battle scenes sound amazing with the canon balls hitting the wood ~ sounds so realistic , AMAZING !!!
