Default Amazon now has 'Packaging Feedback' on Orders they ship

Amazon now has 'Packaging Feedback' on Orders they ship. If you go under your account theres now a Leave Packaging Feedback tab. Its part of their Go Green initiative.

Amazon is a warehouse seller where that packaging isnt needed but places like Target and Wal-Mart need it to curb kids opening packages, theft and loss

I saw this quite a while back too. it is interesting to see and i do agree with getting rid of it for the most part. But for presents and such at birthdays and christmas i think that i would rather have some of the packaging still. Just depends on the item i guess

This is simply a way for Amazon to cut costs, nothing more. I wonder if it will really catch on with consumers.

This won't go anywhere with other retailers or manufacturers because all that packaging that frustrates us so much is all designed for theft prevention. Otherwise you'd have the frustration free packaging they speak of. Great idea, but not going anywhere...fluff.
