Over the previous months my personal list of things I wished were added to PS3 grew pretty thin - most of the stuff I wanted is already available.
The only major item I have left is this - AppStore (OK, call it differently, but you got the picture). In addition to games, movies and possibly music (I saw Shin-Ra launched that thread about selling music via PSN), wouldn;t it be nice to have other applications available? Initially developed by Sony and major partners, later possibly by a wider software community? Think of different types of applications you could install on your PS3 - perhaps some advanced media streaming and media organizer applications, DVR tools, home security / smart home type of utilities, photo / video editing, etc, etc, etc. Do you think there is any chance this will happen? |
