Default Picture differences between G10 and S1?

So today my wife said those words that EVERY guy wants to hear '50" is too small, we need at least 58"'

I see that (for some REALLY weird reason) the G10 maxes out @ 54", and the G15 maxes out @ 50" however, the S1 goes to 65"

My bewilderment aside, I realize that the S1 does not have (flawed) 24p playback and the THX mode, that the G10 does, I just wanted to make sure that the picture quality/setting is just as good on the S1 model as the G10.

The $200 rebate expires on May 2nd, so if I'm going to wait the picture quality better be the same!

I don't remember specifically why, but i remember cnet.com rated the g10 as the #2 overall plasma and the S1 #3. I think it was just because of the added bells and whistles with the THX mode and veira cast(internet) stuff. I think you'd be perfectly happy with the S1.

Cnet.com said that the G10 had better black level than the S1 did, i don't know if this has anything to do with the THX mode or now but maybe, also they now have amazon video on demand on the G10 which is pretty cool, i really like mine, but if you are set at going bigger than 54" and want the G10 you will have to wait a little longer the larger models come out in may i think, could be june, not for sure.....

Oh i forgot to mention that the G10 also has better or rather more accurate color reproduction, now this i'm sure is because of the THX mode......

Very tight budget (I'd be waiting months after the release for a good price)

And the $200 rebate is if you purchase TV + Warranty/Home Install/other service on the same invoice Panasonic will credit you up to $200 of the cost of the additional item.
