Default Good place for entertainment centers?

I recently bought a CSi A6 and it doesn't fit into the nook made for the center channel. I'm looking for one that has the arm attachment to mount a tv on as I can't put the tv on the wall, don't ask. Anyway my point is where is a good place to shop for them.. I checked amazon and best buy and somehow it seems like it's much cheaper to go to best buy. Before I drop $300 or more there I had to ask if anyone knows of a better place to shop for these?

I would get a flat-screen mount from monoprice for $30 or so.... and mount it to the wall, and place a component stand under it.

As far as the arm-ones you're talking about... not sure where you can find one cheaper than the ones you're looking at.

Thanks for the replies. As the old lady is for some reason digging in on the not putting the TV on the wall, I guess I'll just go the best buy route. No Costco's by me ak, thanks for the suggestion though. Whalen's were on the radar for sure, but around 300+ at my local best buy.

Like they say pick your battles. A TV stand isn't one I'll dig in on, I explained it will cost more but no avail.

Yep..you must pick your battles.

You might look here for ideas: http://www.racksandstands.com/

Also, Ikea might have something you can use.

Some of the stands that can mount a TV look alright, but I almost prefer a traditional cabinet with the TV sitting on it more. Can you post a pic of your current setup?

Sorry about your Blues, but at least they made it in...unlike my battle weary Stars. You guys really played us well this season.

What about checking costco's website? Maybe you'll find one you like. It's worth a shot.

The wife and I went to Ikea today for the first time and I was amazed at the selection of entertainment centers. So I'll chime in (like a few others have done already) and say, "check out Ikea!"

Being I was really bored today, I tried a little pimp my entertainment center DIY. Gotta say cut pieces out, added some in and I'm really happy with the outcome. Center channel is now ear level, tv is sitting on a sturdy plank of wood. All is good once again.

And hey now I'm not limited to the little box I had to fit a tv in. Might be time to start saving pennies for something better then a 32 inch Samsung.

I have a Home Theater wall unit and I love it. It stores all my Equipment + Movies and it is adjustable for any size TV upto 83". Right now I got a 61" in my Home Theater. You can see pics of it in my sig!

I bought the Wall Unit like 3 years ago at a store called Ultimate Electronics. I am not sure what the brand is but if you are interested in knowing that I can find out for you.

Mind posting a pic in your gallery or in the thread? I like this idea, and I'd like to see some of your handiwork.
