I just bought the movie on Amazon, it plays the advertise of other movies, but when i click entered to play the movie, it just keep repeats to the menu

Please help

Tell your Dad to stop yelling and buy you a PS3 the Insignia is probably out of date

yep....sorry to tell you this, but some Blu Ray players are out of date and will not play newer titles. You have no choice but to see if there's a firmware update on the Insignia site, or ultimately get a brand new Blu Ray player. Sucks, but thats how it is.

is there any way that i can download the firmware of this product? I tried to go to Insignia website but i can't find one. I think i don't like blu anymore

Insignia is a 1.1 player and you need a 2.0 player for the latest blu's.

damn I'm sorry buddy. If I were you I'd pour out a little liquor for that fossilized Insignia player and look into getting a brand new one. I understand you may not have the money for it now, but the new ones are really nice. Good luck.

The profile has nothing to do with the movies. It's only if you want to take advantage of the BD-Live features, not the movie itself.

First I would try playing the disc on someone else's player. If it plays properly then the problem is with your player. If it won't play in a different player, then it's the disc and you should contact Amazon to exchange it as defective.

Profile 1.1 players are no longer getting firmware updates as all compaines have replaced those models with 2.0 so I guess it has a little to do with it.

Good luck finding a 1.1 profile that will play QOS.

My old Profile 1.1 player that I gave to my parents last year had a firmware update 2 days ago
