Default FINALLY in the HD era

Well, after a few months of buying Blu-ray movies and not having an HDTV to enjoy it on, i've finally bought an HDTV earlier today. Got a great deal and bargained the price down an additional $300. It's primarily going to be used to play my PS3 games and watch the Blu-rays i've already bought, though it's only 720p/1080i (native 720p) it will suffice for now being that it's only 32" and 1080p isn't noticable on such a small screen.

only problem is i don't have an HDMI cable right now (just ordered it off the Apple website) so i'll have to wait a week to get it.

Anyway, this is my first HDTV ever and i'm so ecstatic on getting it and just wanted to express my joy. YAY!

Sounds like you bought a WUXGA monitor instead of a HDTV if you bought the HDMI cable from Apple.

If Fuad is correct...
It sure is capable of serving HD content. Weird why it's not able to produce 1920x1200 progressive?

720p/1080i.
Why order from the Apple website?

Ah well, I sure hope you'll have fun with it.
