Is it normal for German steelies to have the blue BD border imprinted on the steelbook itself?

It is preliminary art and it could change, end up being a flap.

It looks like the CDN release

well I haven't seen anything played on an actual 3D TV, but watching FD4 on 3D was kind of a novelty... the color schemes were a bit wacky and the focus was a little off due to the discrepancies caused from each eye essentially trying to see a different image, but I could see the potential there

I don't think BR discs or players are inexpensive or mainstream enough to call anyone who has a nice home theater & collection of BRs a "poor man," but you didn't hurt my feelings I knew what you meant

btw YGM J

*EDIT*

I must have no idea how awesome BR3D is, because I think anyone willing to pay $300+ for Avatar3D needs their head examined
For that price you should get the TV too

wasnt meant to be insulting, we always call the cheap version "poor mans" (I know with Beer, we called Natty Light poor mans Bud Light)...You read way too much into that

But to put it into a language that isnt offensive, we will say Blu-ray 3D is leaps and bounds better than the old red/green paper glasses. I got my Avatar for Free with TV so I will unload my first copy on ebay

Its a shame it has the bluray label at the top. :-/

But cool that its 3D, I have this currently and its enjoyable to watch in 3d. Also saw it in the theaters. I was quite impressed with the 3D effects.
