Default Kojima Productions Building Is On Fire (UPDATED)

http://www.qj.net

I have no idea about the circumstances surrounding this, but for some reason the Konami building situated in the Roppongi disctrict in Tokyo has a lot of smoke coming from the top floors.

A picture was just posted on Twitter by @wataru_hrt, and @sphere037 posted another picture from a different angle. For those who don’t know, that particular Konami building is where Kojima Productions are based.

Maybe Arsenal Gear crashed into it? Maybe it’s transforming into a Metal Gear? Maybe terrorists have taken it over? Maybe Sunny is cooking eggs?!

Sorry for the sh***y jokes, and I genuinely hope that nobody is hurt in the fire.

Twitter always gives way to gaming news regarding catastrophes in Japan; remember the rumours that the Pokémon creator had died during earthquakes?

Anyway, Konami has been contacted and I’ll be sure to update this article with any response or news regarding the incident as soon as I can.

UPDATE:
As promised, I'm updating with new news. A Konami spokeswoman is saying there wasn't a fire, but an odd surplus of building steam. What caused it? Not a clue. But all is good.
