Default Do you always watch your movies from beginning to end?

It just popped in my head that i hardly ever watch my blu's all the way through after i watch them once. I tend to skip around and watch all the cool action scenes and listen to the kick @$$ sound from movies like Transformers and The Dark Knight. Does anyone else do this?

I tend to watch them from beginning to end and usually put the computer away to watch something. If I like the movie enough to watch it multiple times, I will usually just watch the entire movie in one go.

For concerts, I may skip around more but I don't usually watch a movie just for a scene or two

Sometimes i feel the urge to watch something like the last scene of transformers, cause its soo cool sounding, even though i dont feel like sitting there for 2 hours.

Worst thing they ever did to home media was the chapter selection option on DVD.

Films are meant to be watched from beginning to end. To split up the experience into multiple parts is an absolute abomination of disrespect to all artists involved on the production. Even if I hate the films (Twilight is a prime example) I will at least show respect for the amount of work that went into the turd by giving it my full attention for its duration.

I do watch movies from the beginning to the end, because that's how you should watch a movie. Although I may occasionally be doing something else at the same time in another room, in which case I just pause it and once I finished, resume it. I really don't like watching movies over a length of time, a few hours of days for example, as it doesn't feel like you're watching the whole thing, just particular parts one at a time. But that's just me.

I usually watch a movie from beginning to end, it doesn't make sense to skip around.

Always. Even if half way through I am truly hating what I am seeing I still have to finish it.

I very rarely queue up a clip. Even if I'm showing off my system to someone, I'll show them a Pixar short or possibly a piece of HOME. Usually when I pop in a blu-ray, I'm watching the whole thing. I'm much more interested in the story than the events and explosions.

I do not want to sound rude, but I like to watch movies where one HAS to watch the whole film to understand the last scenes !

Mamet`s Spanish Prisoner is fine example ... have it on dvd.

Some films it simply don't matter, and others it's a must.

For my annual Lord of the Rings EE marathon, I watch half a movie each day over six days. Four hours at a stretch is too long to sit.

I've watched Memento from the end to the beginning.

The only times I'll skip scenes are for movies i've seen a few hundred times already, or there is a scene coming up that I can't stand.

I usually watch films all the way though, unless something comes up and I have to turn it off!
