Default Spielberg films on blu

https://www.blu-ray.com/news/?id=2676&page=0

I want jarassic park trilogy and catch me if you can. ET would be nice to.

Hopfully he request that all his films have a DTS-MA soundtrack just like he did with Close Encounters.

Here is my ranking of his movies that I would like on Blu-ray, noting that Close Encounters has already been released (in a most excellent fashion):

1. Jaws
2. All the Indiana Jones
3. Saving Private Ryan
4. E.T.
5. 1941 (yes, that is right 1941 is great, damnit)
6. Minority Report
7. Empire of the Sun
8. Jurassic Park 1 and 2 (and go ahead with 3 while you are at it)
9. A.I.
10. Amistad
11. Catch Me if You Can
12. The Color Purple

I may have missed some, but these are all day one purchases, with the top three being a take off from work on Tuesday to watch the right away releases.

Promising news, A.I. and Minority Report are two of my favorite Spielberg movies.

If we can get Jaws and Munich soon too, I'd be a happy camper.

How come they release two of his absolute worst movies ever? Minority Report and A.I. sucks!

Where's Schindler's List???

AI is an acquired taste, but sorry, Minority Report does the exact opposite of sucking. It rules -- hard.

I forgot Schindler's List, War pf the Worlds, and Munich. Those are exceptional as well. War of the Worlds might anger the neighbors with lossless sound.

Eccccch. Worst for me.

IMHO, there is pre-SPR and post-SPR.

Anything post has been, at best, mediocre.

I would have to agree that Minority Report and AI are two of his worst efforts, but they are still pretty good.

I though he only directed the first two JPs.

Minority Report....worst? Try watching Kingdom of the Crystal Skulls some time. Minority Report may have had some problems script-wise but wasn't close to the CGI schlock we got with Indie 4.
