A good portion of blu-rays I want are in Europe and not the U.S.. If I buy that region disc would that work on my blu-ray player? I only ask because DVDs were like that on PS2..

I'm gonna say as long as your player is capable of playing that region code sure if not I'd say no but I'm not an expert on this.

Most titles are region locked in UK except for WB titles and a few others. There is a thread around here that tells you what can and can't play on a US player. I am too lazy to go track it down.
