Talking 'Jesse James Is A Dead Man' Coming to SpikeTV

Throughout last weeks episode of The Ultimate Fighter on SpikeTV I kept seeing previews that just simply showed Jesse James with a grin and the voice over telling us "Jesse James is coming to Spike" with nothing more, not even a show title, but I still got immediately pumped up as I am a massive fan of Jesse's metal work, his bikes and his style in general, and so I looked into what it is. I am very excited for this, it sounds badass! Everybody watch the video linked here and make sure to watch SpikeTV on May 31st!

So brilliant metal workers with tattoos who are also bikers offend you? Ok, well looks like I'm the only person here open to fun things beside weekend trips to Home Depot and Bed, Bath and Beyond you know if there's time. I didn't know there where men alive who didn't love choppers.........how sad

LOL. I have been riding and racing motorcycles for 44 years. I have rebuilt many a motor too. Bikes are my greatest passion.

I have respect for their artisic creations, because they truly are that. However, you wouldnt catch me riding one of those overly heavy, poorly handling, under braked, air cooled, oil leaking farm implements in a million years. Too slow, boring and dangerous.

Is that seriously how you describe a chopper? They are meant to enjoy the ride, but they definitely got the balls too em as well. You are into rice rockets ain't ya? 180mph and never enjoying the ride. Or atleast into those full dressers with all the lights and windshields ain't ya? Maybe it's a generational thing, because I am definitely into raw muscle and stripped down custom bikes without metal saddle boxes. Not attacking you, just guess we definitely see these bikes as entirely different things. If you ever saw Indian Larry's custom work, especially the bike he made the frame of entirely in chains, than you would have much more respect for them. Billy Lane, and Jesse are definitely the bike builder heroes of today. But you are still against tattoos, and that I will never understand, everybody looks bad old, so you might as well enjoy your flesh while it's still strong enough to hold the images and look good.

I think you MIGHT have misunderstood me. Those bikes are unbelievable works of art. Each one is born of a dream and has its own theme. The execution and workmanship is exotic and fantastic. They are beautifull.

I come from a performance background, and those bikes (choppers) are for cruising, and riding one for 4 hours beats the hell out of you. I know, I have ridden quite a few for all day trips. For me, the better the bike handles, the more fun I can have, and choppers (all) handle poorly. The ones without rear suspension are very dangerous and the ones with suicide clutches (no front brake) are an accident waiting to happen. (I have ridden a suicide clutch bike for 4oo miles).

There is something to be said for a bike that will do anything you ask of it, exactly when you ask. Choppers, by nature of their geometry, weight, brakes, CoG and suspension inferiority are a lot of work to ride. Race bikes, by nature are intuitive, you think it, move your body an inch, and the bike responds.

Different strokes for different folks. Right?

Edit: Oh...and at 180mph I am very much "enjoying the ride", easpcially if I am only on the rear wheel. :-)

Different strokes for different folks is right lol. I do love to go fast but on a bike, sometimes I just wanna enjoy the ride. For me there is nothing like cruising down the washington, oregon and california coast on highway 101 on a bike enjoying the ride. My buddy rides a '52 Panhead with a suicide shifter, lol. Has been riding it every day in washington weather, rain or snow for 15 years now. And I could never enjoy a ride, when you gotta grind rice and listen to an angry bumble bee scream outta your coffee can.

LOL.

For a beautifull ride, try riding one of your John Deeres up Palomar Mountain or Montezumas Grade.

You don't like HIS taste in music, lol. Didn't know you had to. Well apparently his show has one demographic and that's me. I thought because this was all about extreme stunts and really wild action this would appeal to all guys, especially since most of you only want action with no plot i.e. a statham movie, so it would have made sense to enjoy live action, guess I was wrong about that.
