Sony BDP-S300: Xmas gift for myself??

Hi!
I am eagerly awaiting the arrival of Sony's BDP-S300 Blu-Ray player.
If it looks, plays, and sounds really good (I'm sure it will), I will seriously consider getting myself one (as a Christmas gift to myself) in November or December (when it will be even cheaper to buy).
Just a few questions:
1. Exactly what kinds of price points ($400, $350...) are we talking about come holiday season for the BDP-S300?
2. When the S300 bows in June, how similar will it be to a fully (firmware) updated BDP-S1?
3. Do you all anticipate the S300 getting firmware updates throughout the rest of the year?
4. I know it will have HDMI 1.3, analog outputs and, of course, digital outputs. Will it have Component Video out?
5. What kind of DTS will the S300 start out with (when it bows in June), and any idea if it will ultimately have DTS-HD Master Audio capability?

I appreciate any comments and information you can offer.
