Amazon is selling the SFU collectors set for really cheap. I want to pick it up, but wanted to ask you all - what are the odds of HBO putting out a BD version of this series?

As much as I would love to see this show in High-Def, the chances are very slim. The series is already over, so its not like it's a current shows previous seasons being upgraded to a new format. I really want to purchase that box set as well, but I've already about tripled that price in cost of the regular season releases over the years they were released.

Sucks too, the 1st seasons box is slightly larger than the others and it has always irked me. They are all the same size in the box set.

Yes, I know what you mean. I have owned S1 and S2 twice each. Don't ask. I think you are also right. As much as I want to see it in hi-def myself, prolly not going to happen.

This is something that will makes it way to HD in the future as all things do but its priority will be on the backburner. TV Shows are not the 1st thing we are going to see pop up-it might be awhile so if this is something you want I would get it in regular format as it might be a few years before you see it again.

Keep in Mind when DVD has released Tv shows season by season they start with the 1st one and usually space the release dates about 6 months apart.
