Default hooking up blu ray player to pc

can i hook up my sony blu ray player to my pc and play blu ray dvds on my pc screen?

No you can't, I know of no PC or Mac for that matter with an HDMI input for your BD player (unless you buy a $1000.00+ Blackmagic card - and that would defeat the point). Why not buy a internal or external BD player for you PC if its powerful enough

That monitor has both a VGA and DVI connnection. So you can hook up your computer using VGA and hook up your BDP using an HDMI to DVI cable from monoprice.com.
