Pioneer Elite 03 Question - Blu-ray Forum

I have the Pioneer Elite VSX-03TXH receiver, and have all my other components running through it via HDMI. Can anyone tell me why it is that my motorola HD comcast box wont show as "Cable Tru HD" ? Should I have my cable box hooked up differently? Should I do HDMI, and optical audio? Thanks for the help!

Your cable isnt going to have TrueHD. Cables best sound format is dolby digital.

Yes, he got it. TrueHD is for Blu-ray, not cable.
