Default Taken

I looked over the threads and could not find any thing on Taken which is coming out this Tuesday.

I have not seen it and was wondering if it was worth getting it as a Blu? If it is a so-so move, I will get it as a DVD and save $$$

.

I believe there are quite a few threads on this, but watching a really old guy kick everyone's arse was extremely entertaining. Loved it.

I'd believe anything if it came from the mouth of Eva Angelina

Referring to Proxpilot's av.

I saw it twice in theaters. I loved it.

Thanks for the link.

I did a search a few times using Taken and it never came up with anything which I thought was strange.

Thanks

I had to use Neeson to get it....and it was still a wee bit of a struggle.

if you loved that, you might check out some of the Charles Bronson 80's
action flicks-- now that was a REALLY old guy kickin' butt!

I can honestly say I have never seen a Bronson flick. Are they along the lines of VanDamme and Segal flicks (i.e. corny, yet entertaining)?

I have heard nothing but glowing reviews from my friends who saw it (and I trust them more than critics). I think that it is a safe bet that this is a good movie. Plus it's got Liam Neeson in it. Nothing more need be said.

very entertianing-- some are silly-- I'd say they are closer to Eastwood
action flicks--

Completely different. VanDamme and Segal use their fists, hands and feet. Bronson used a gun without mercy.

Take Man on Fire, remove the plot, change Denzel to Liam and you pretty much have Taken.

Which actually adds up to a fun experience. Personally I see it more as a great rental then something to buy but that's just me.

I really enjoyed it. I'll probably pick it up eventually when someone is selling one in the trading forum for pretty cheap.

Taken is definitely rental worthy, just not worth a buy IMO.
