Default Nightwolf2369's Home Theater

Hey everyone, thought I would finally put up a few pics of my little home theater. While it is not much, it is something I am definately proud of and it had made watching movies way more enjoyable.

Sorry for the crappy cell phone pics, but my camera is out of service right now.

Let me know what you think.

Looks good! Nice and clean! But I see two things...

- universal remote
- wire management

Thanks, I am kinda broke at the moment but plan on getting a remote in the future and the wires don't really bother me because you can't really see them unless you get down to look.

I agree with sean about the couch. Atleast your wires are pretty much covered by the stand and equipment. You can work on that. Mine is in pretty bad shape. I really gotta work on it.

Nice entertainment stand!

Where did you buy it? I've been looking for that 'waterfall' type for a while, and haven't come up with much. If I can't find one that will work for me, I'm going to have to build one myself!

Like your set up too!

Yeah, it is, for now. I am slowing piecing together a 5.1. Next on my list, a kick-ass subwoofer.

That couch would put me to sleep

I like it.... wires, yeah.... but all in all, the entire setup isn't obtrusive to the room, and it's not shoved into a corner etc..... Nice looking T.V. too.

The sub will fit into the room without problems, perhaps just move the towers out a foot or so on each side, and place it next to the stand...... The surrounds will take some work, because you'll probably want to go wall-mounts (use in-wall wiring or just cable-runners) because of the couch you have.... stands will be tough to pull off.

I just got my couch last night also. I was watching Gladiator and fell asleep within 30 minutes. I feel like I'm back on my old schedule after tonight where I'm out half the week and sleep something like 3-4 hours a night. I need to get my background curtains setup but should be good to go from there.

Do you remember where you bought your entertainment stand or the model number for it?

I like the set-up. Very comfy and that is a very interesting TV stand. Nice to see you had a place to put your center channel with it designed that way. I also luv the Polks! Nice job!

I bought mine off someone from Craigslist, but the stand is from American Signature. Last time I checked it was on sale for less than $200. Great deal and it is a great stand. Tons of room for everything.

Thanks for the couch comments too. I love this thing, it is like a huge bed. My gf falls asleep all the time watching movies on there.

Also, since we just live an apartment, I can't do in the wall wiring. However, when I get my own place (depending on where I move since I am looking for a broadcasting job) then I will be able to clean up the wires and all that jazz.
