Default Power Saving: Low, Medium or High?

Hey guys. I have a question. Whats the best power setting to have your HD tv set on? Right now I have mine on high but I am not sure if I should have it set on there. Any thoughts or suggestions?

I guess it really depends. With my Sammy the power save setting actually changes the back light which in turn messes up my settings. I have a large window in my livingroom so I do not keep this mode on.

umm I use to keep it at low but it got annoying because it kept dimming the back light at wrong times. I don't use that feature anymore. but my suggestion would be to keep it at low or off.

Check Cnet for your model TV and it's settings if they have reviewed it. They will mention what the best setting for this is.

I have set the power saving to low. If I set the power saving to high the picture seems to lose some of its brightness. So setting it to low is where it will stay. I think I tweaked my tv enough to where I now am very happy with it and thats all that matters I guess.

I have a Sony XBR4, and I keep power saving off, but I use the Light Sensor mode turned to ON. Yes, there is a little "brightness hunting" during credits, but never during a movie. It does a great job as my living room is swathed in light during the day (skylights), and of course very dark at night.

I use samsung and all it does is adjust the backlight level, I use a pretty low backlight level anyway (4) so do not really need this
