Noticed these on Cd wow.com site, some nice prices! Aint sure how reliable they are and the like but at those prices worth a purchase.

Yeah, their posting is free. They are semi reliable. Not dishonest. Just incompetent.

The prices smack of a mistake they have made. They have Taken for A$18.66 on their Australian site. It is like they are showing the British Pound prices in A$

I didn't choose anything from the sale pages, but they have great prices on a few movies. I just picked up How to Lose Friends and Alienate People for $13.50 shipped to the US.

Got a couple of those, great prices if you ask me (4 movies and a TV boxset for just over 50€ is amazin). They're only unreliable when it comes to pre-orders. At least they answer to emails.

At one time they were one of the best sites in the world. I got a lot of R2 and R3 DVDs from them back then. They ran into some financial problems and I think they were bought out. They're trying to make a comeback. I get vouchers emailed to me regularly as a former customer. I've been a little wary of getting back in but I might take a chance with some of these prices. They've always had free worldwide shipping.

Many prices don't look so good there.

But be sure to check the regions as they are the same BDs as they have on the British site (mostly Region B). So for US customers be sure they are not region locked.

Now all items say "Australian Import" as well, WTF?

Yeah massive boob by CDWow like I expected. Still I've a confirmation email listing the price and the amount I paid. Fingers crossed they might stick with it considering its their mistake, doubt it though we wouldnt be that lucky ha!

Got a reply (quick, I know, right?) telling me all their Blu-rays are Australian Imports...

Then a lot of jibbi jabber about how they depend on their suppliers for items and cannot guarantee any of it being true to the date.

I'm just gonna cancel, I reckon it's gonna be a huge mess for nothing.

I reckon going by the amount of people that made an order due to their major mistake thats what they are hoping everyone does! Its their fault, they made a major price error on the site. Have read that when the same thing has happened on other sites, they correct the error and send an email explaining the order will not be processed. I'm going wait and see what Cd wow do

They bailed on my order - oh well I tried. I don't believe I'll be revisiting with them at anytime soon.
