Question DTS Master Audio from SURROUND RECORDS

Trued to post this yesterday but it never appeared.

I have purchased two of these Blu Ray audio discs - Schostakovich and Mussorgsky.

The Shostakovich is fine but the other disc will not play.

I've been in touch with the retailer and they are giving a refund but I would like to follow up with SURROUND RECORDS. Problem is the site www.surroundrecords.com does not seem to exist.

Anyone know how to contact them?

TIA

John

high definition audio is mean HDMI connector cable 1.3 . No Stereo cable, No Digital Optical cable,

good luck.
No problem with the gear. It played the Schostakovich fine but proclaimed "This disc is incompatible" when reading the Moussorgsky.

I reposted about this before discovering a note from Alexander - I have now replied to him and look forward to suggestions.

I've got a question. I have a Panny BD 30. I tried to play the BD music disc from Denmark, can't recall the name. It has DTS Master, TRue HD and 24/192 pcm. The DTS and TrueHD tracks play fine, but the 5.1 24/192 gives absolutely no sound.

Is it a matter of the Panny only being able to handle 24/96 and not able to do 24/192, or some other reason?

I use HDMI connection and the Onkyo 805 receiver. Maybe it is the receiver which can't handle above 24/96.

Also, to my hearing, the uncompressed pcm tracks of movies have greater impact and transient response than DTS Mast and TrueHD. Is it the same for music?

However I would rather answer this in my insider thread it is a need to let people know that uncompressed pcm technicaly will not give you any advantages over DTS Mast and TrueHD interms of greater impact and transient response Not for Movies, Not for Music, the difference you may hear can be related to the sample rates and other specific settings used for encoding the source material.
Another issue that some listeners do not have proper settings to hear lossless part of DTS-HD Master or TrueHD interms of player-reciever configuration and it is very important to make sure that you have everything
set-up for lossless DTS-HD decoding to experience our titles.

For everybody who will come across Mussorgsky and Tchaikovsky title with LO F1 2070-2316 IDEA/LM/CA printed in inner circle of the disc please contact me for a replacement copy.

Unfortunately Amazon can not inform all customer service agents about our replacement what was done back in October last year that why old copies are still in circulation.

Thank you.

Alexander
