Default Anyone else buy an iPod and no longer buy CD's?

Or am I the only one? I've had my iPod for almost a year and during that time, I haven't bought one CD! Don't get me wrong, I don't illegally download music! Most of my music comes from iTunes right now! But I have no use for CD's anymore! I have an iPod connection in both my cars so CD's serve no purpose to me!

However, I do like to look at the credits inside the booklet of a CD, which is why I'm glad a lot of iTunes albums come with a digital booklet!

Anyone else feel like me?

i have two Ipods, i still buy CD cuz i can get whole CD's for $5 off amazon. when Itunes charges .99 -1.29 for one song. i just import the CD's and re sell them sometimes pending on if it's a good CD or not.

yeah, well I rarely buy one song from iTunes, unless I REALLY want it! I ususally only buy albums!

Unless it's the only way to get a song, like when I go see indie groups at clubs, I usually don't buy CD's.

Hell no. I still buy CD's (rarely now) because I like to have the actual hard copy. I have my ipod for work, and my CD's in my car.

IMHO, nothing so far to me beats SQ on a CD.

Sounds like a good deal! But me personally I'm very impatient and when I want something, I want it right then! I hate that I'm like that cause I lose a bunch of money being impatient

That's the thing! I have hundreds and hundreds of CD's and I hate tugging them with me everywhere I go, especially when every CD I own is now on my iPod!

I never buy CDs anymore because I rarely want more than a song or 2 off an album. Also Itunes will have a song before the CD is released and I'm not patient enough to wait for the CD to be released.

I have over 300 CD's I think from 1996, and all of them are in my ipod classic as well. I also have all my digital copies of my movies in there too

I don't really carry CD's, since I have a 6 cd changer in my acura TL. I do use my tape cassette for my ipod. Works for me.

I dont buy many cd's anymore, but it's more because of most of todays artist do not deserve a single cent of my money for they crap they try and pass off as music!

Only stuff i have bought off itunes is from a free 15 dollar itunes card from the purchase of guitar hero world tour. Most of everything i want to listen to i already own, the few bands i do still buy it's always a cd and rip it into itunes.

I've actually gone full circle lately. I used to buy CD's all the time, and then I got an iPod. Then I started using iTunes, and stopped buying CD's. But lately, I found my old stash of CD's and started comparing the sound between CD's and my iPod on my stereo, and for SQ, CD's win hands down! So much so that I'm going to go back and buy a few CD's that I already downloaded from iTunes. I have found that I don't listen in the car that much anymore, but I make time at home now for some listening at the end of the day.

Most of my listening is actually done in the car!
