Default Samsung PN51F5300 or Vizio E500i-B TV?

I am in the market for a new TV and was wondering which of these two would be the best option. The Samsung 51F5300 Plasma my buddy swears by but with plasma's not being made after this year will there be difficulty if there are any issues for parts, etc.

My other option is the Vizio E500i-B1 TV. When reading reviews on CNet it has the some of the best picture quality for 2014.

Any advice would be helpful. Thanks everyone.

You'd be an idiot not to buy the F5300, especially over a Vizio LCD. I don't care how good an LCD is, it's not going to compare to one of the best and most economical plasmas ever anywhere near this price point.

The F5300 blows the Vizio out of the water.
