Not bad, but I was hoping for some earlier KOTR (non ppv) matches from the 80's. At least they were smart to include Angle vs Shane's street fight.

I'm shocked they didn't ignore Angle for a change.

Agreed although I'm glad Angle Vs. Orton was included though.

the old 80s ones don't really have any footage besides fan cams, the only thing that pisses me off is they kept that ridiculous Lawler vs Hitman Kiss My Foot match but they can't include the Bret vs Diesel title match from the 94 KotR

Totally agree...i'm surprised WWE has yet to release Bret vs. Diesel from KOTR 94 on DVD/Blu-ray, such a great match and IMO i enjoyed that more than their match at Royal Rumble 95 and Survivor Series 95 (both were great though)...but was hoping they would include it on this.

The Kiss my foot match was also on Over the Limit Blu-ray.

Owen vs. 123 Kid would also been great to include...it was probably one of the best matches under 5 minutes.

Pretty funny they include all the finals except for Mabel and Billy Gunn.

But still a great set, will be picking this up.

agreed I'll be picking it up on regular DVD though, I don't like the sidebars, and the bonus matches on the Blus never make me say oh I gotta pick it up on Blu Ray

I actually don't mind the side bars, but i'm still undecided if i'm buying it on dvd or blu. It really depends on the price. If it's only $2 more on blu than i'll go with it over dvd. I don't own any of those other matches on any other collection.

Glad to see Owen on it but I wish they included the match against 1-2-3 Kid which is a great match! Pre-ordered!

I wish they would make this a pay-per-view again. In fact...I wish there were only five pay-per-views a year.

Royal Rumble (winner of the match main events Wrestlemania)
Wrestlemania
King of the Ring (winner main events SummerSlam)
SummerSlam
Survivor Series

They most def need to but sadly WWE doesn't want to do that.

You'd think they learn with the poor buyrates for all the pointless PPV's shoved into a year nowadays. I might pick this up though.

Agreed although the PPV event lost its meaning when they stopped doing the entire 8 man tournament in the same night. I guess some of the winners had poor cardio.

Angle vs Shane is worth the purchase alone. That whole PPV rocked.

The match that going in had no business being any good at all ended up being one of the best street fights ever.

i saw this on the shelves at best Buy today. This looks like a good release but I'm worried they might not have the coronation ceremonies.

Well I picked it up and enjoy what I've seen so far (half of the first disc). It's hosted by King Booker in character. Also they do show the coronations. I wish it went a little further into some of the history and maybe an overview of some of the tournaments.

They never ignore Kurt Angle. On Shawn Michaels' documentary, they made their match story a deleted scene, but other than that, they mention his name in comparison to others on TV, they talk about him on WWE Classics On Demand, he's on any list he qualifies for on WWE.com, etc.

They've gotten wiser about that . I think they don't see TNA as a threat and were willing to do cross promotion with UFC ( The Brock/Undertaker incident).

What's funny is King Mabel is nowhere to be found on this set. They even mention people that won the tournament before it was a ppv but no King Mabel, lol.
