Default Review Date != Post Order

I have noticed a trend recently with review dates sorting not matching the posting order of reviews. This makes things a little confusing on the front page, in the reviews RSS and on the new reviews page when a newly posted review "sneaks in" underneath a review that was posted earlier in the day - or in the worst case on a previous day.

Would it be possible to change the sorting order to reflect the time a review is actually posted on the site rather than the marked "review date", so that the review ordering remains constant as each new review is added?

OP, I have also noticed this issue. I don't think it's a huge deal since they're not pumping out 5 or 10 movies a day. But it could get confusing. Just check the home page list everyday. You won't miss any

Not sure if anything was changed under the covers, but I haven't noticed any instances of out-of-order reviews recently. Although admittedly, I've been on the road for most of the last week so I haven't been watching things as closely as I normally do.

Thanks Ken, I definitely appreciate the response and all the hard work you guys must put in. Time zones must be a ***** to handle, but it's great that you have such an international or at least apparently well-spread out and decentralized staff.

I think this sums it up:

Is it because when they were written the reviewer is saving them as drafts? making it ... #256 for example ... then another reviewer posts #257 publicly and later #256 posts so now it shows up underneath #257 as opposed to on top of it to look like the newest review released

if this is the case, I know the answer to that, just PM me. If its not the case, IGNORE ME~!!!

It actually came down to a few different reasons, but we've identified them and worked the issue out. Thanks for the idea and offer to help though!
