Pro-Blu-ray studios will have a hard time competing with all the new good HD DVD movies released this week. Blu-ray fans are jealous and are now whishing Universal would shift to Blu-ray. But don't take your dream too seriously fanboys. Universal is well anchored to HD DVD. At least for now.

But Sony did pretty well with the release of "Blood & Chocolate". "Cruel Intentions", "Ghost Rider" and "Seven Years in Tibet". Buena Vista and Lionsgate are doing the best they can with the release of "Primeval" and "Daddy's Little Girls" respectively.

But competing with all the new HD DVD movies from Universal was too much of a hard job. The Studio releases "Born on the Fourth of July", "Bruce Almithy", "Breach", "Daylight", "Liar Liar", "Monthy Python's The Meaning of Life" and "Sneakers".

"Black Christmas (2006)" and "Harsh Times" are available from Weinstein and HD Environments brings "Living Landscape: The World's Most Beautiful Places" to the HD DVD catalog.

As always, Warner does not want to make anybody jealous with "Music and Lyrics" released on both formats.

The score is now 223 HD DVD movies against 254 Blu-ray movies. This means we now have a 10% difference between the numbers of releases from each format

Is it just me or is Blurayfreak bais against BD? Alot of times the posts on this site just seem pro HD DVD to me. That quote is right from the homepage www.blurayfreak.com
