Default What equipment does blu-ray.com use for reviews?

I have a question about the equipment that blu-ray.com use. I have a 60gb PS3 and a 42" Toshiba Regza (42xv540u). I think that my PQ is very very good. However, the screen shots on the website always just seem so perfect. Does anyone know the Blu Ray player and/or display?

There are several different people who do reviews for movies on this site. I suspect they're not all using the exact same equipment. When you click on a movie's review, in small print at the top of the review, and under the movie title, it tells you who reviewed it.

As far as the screenshots, they're doing a direct image capture- they're not taking a picture of the set, but what is output by the disc. And no, they won't tell you what they use but it's a PC and BD drive with software of some type.

Thats not how its done here. No piracy tools are being used, and that it's completely legal, even by DMCA standards.

I never insinuated anything anywhere near piracy or illegality.

From what I have read by the people doing the captures previously, they're doing a direct image capture. If that's changed, that's fine, but that was the last I read of it. As far as "not telling" it was because, again as I read, proprietary.

How we get from there to piracy I don't know....
