I have tried two discs now and they both have the same problem. Whenever there is a mid-light or darker scene with lots of color you can see waves. It's hard to explain but you can see the color moving. For example, paint on a wall you can see the color moving and its very distracting. In the daylight scenes its not noticeable, and the PQ is stunning throughout but has anyone else noticed this? It can't be my setup because every other movie to date has looked great and not had this problem. I tried playing with saturation settings and that didn't change anything. Any ideas? Thanks.

I haven't had any PQ problems but... I noticed that the rear audio is backwards or flipped in the True HD mix.
I'm not sure whether it's my copy or if it's happened to anyone else. It's annoying because I had to swap the wires round to watch it properly. All my other BD's are fine for this so I know it's not my setup. ![]() |

First, the original question: It sounds like it's an issue with color banding and it's most likely your TV. You said you messed around with the saturation. Also try tweaking with the contrast/picture and turn down the sharpness on your set. In your sig it says you have a plasma and PDP's are usually better with color banding but if it's a crappy brand...

My TV is a couple of years old and it's really easy to see color banding but I never saw any when watching Transporter 3. My guess is that your settings on your TV aren't calibrated and probably set too high.
