Default CG Movie that is not fairy tale?

Is there any CG movie that is not fairy tale? It seems that all of them are fairy tales made for kids. A Bug's Life, Finding Nemo, Shrek etc. The PQ is perfect and fantastic with Blu-ray but I don't like them because fairy tale is not the type of genre that I would want to watch. When will we see CG movie that crosses another genre like horror, psychological thriller, drama, action or sci-fi?

Does Flight Of The Osiris (Animatrix) count? I can't think of anything else than that.

Oh, and how about Appleseed? That's a CGI movie mixed with anime styling.

The res evil one was not that good in fact compered to FF is was rubbish.

Other than Final Fantasy films i cant think of others apart from Manga but i think there more hand drawn novels than CG.

I don't consider some of them fairy tales, only the ones that were actually from fairy tale books. Things like Wall-E, finding nemo, cars, etc are not fairy tales. Shrek on the other hand is a fairy tale.

Agreed, but the term "fairy tale" is definitely a matter of semantics and can have different meaning from person to person.

To the OP: would you consider something like Transformers or Speed Racer to be non-fairy tale-ish? Lots of CG in those.

Or maybe some of the Matrix movies...

If you ever played final fantasy 7 then pick up advent children that just recently came out.

as for purely cg films that aren't kid oriented I think you are going to have to look for some anime because most American made cg films or animated films for that matter lean very heavily towards the kid spectrum.

...We'll get Wall-E to clean up that last one.
