I noticed in the Recently Listed section that all the Harry Potter movies are being released on the 7th of July. Why are they getting re-released? Anyone know?

WOW, how many threads are needed for this! It was announced a LONG time ago that these would be losing the PCM track and getting TRUEHD instead. Also, they are re-releasing in conjuction with Harry Potter 6 that is coming out in July to theaters. I think the covers are gonna be a little different as well, atleast they will if they look like the European covers that it's their thread.

Cause the new film is comming out and the new ones have different covers, there is also rumors of true hd audio being added

Looks like These are individual BDs the first time they came out its was a box set.

It would be nice if we could get a new transfer of the first one. I heard it was pretty bad, which is why I've held off on buying it.

Nah I'm pretty sure they did individual releases for the holidays last year. I know I've see all 5 separate titles for sale used.

Well, while it was no where near as good as Order of the Pheonix, the transfer wasn't that bad! Better than the original DVD by leaps and bounds, but probably deserving of the 3.5 or 3 that it got on it's review on this webstie. I was still impressed, but I'm a Potter fan, so anything new and pretty in the potterverse will prbably impress me.

I'm still holding out until Deathly Hallows part 2 is released before I buy another box set or individual title. I'm sitting on the "School-trunk" box set right now, and while I'm happy with it, it's a bit bulky to store and doesn't look right on a shelf with other blus.

they were also available individually the first time, that is how I got them
